- 300w load = 8 Hours at a DOD of 100%
How does the above affect the longevity of my battery?
Battery specs:
- > 2000 cycles at 100% Depth of Discharge (DOD)
- > 3000 cycles at 80% DOD
- > 5000 Cycles at 50% DOD
Example 1:
Based on the above specs should you run at a 500w load at a DOD of 50% you would still maintain 5000 cycles, so assuming loadshedding occurs 3 times day your battery should last you approximately 5 years.
Example 2:
Based on the above specs should you run at a 500w load at a DOD of 100% you would still maintain 2000 cycles, so assuming loadshedding occurs 3 times day your battery should last you approximately 2 years.
